Privacy policy

WattSOS respects your privacy and processes personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). This policy covers www.wattsos.co.za and the WattSOS app.

What we store

• Inverter screenshots/photos you upload (stored privately) and the diagnosis result.
• Your account email, and systems you add (brand, model, size, town).
• Quote requests: name, mobile number, optional email, suburb, town and problem summary.
• An anonymous device identifier used to limit free diagnoses.

Sharing with installers

We only share your contact details when you tick the consent box on a quote request, and only with up to 3 vetted installers in your area. Installers see your town and problem first; your name and number are revealed only to installers who accept your request.

How we use AI

Your image is processed by an AI model to produce the diagnosis. We don't sell your data.

Your rights & deleting your data

You can view your data in My account, remove systems there, and ask us to delete your account, images and requests using our contact form. We'll action requests within 30 days.
